Harsh Reality

So much to say to the world, what to do?
Our mouths are shut for the benefit of few.
Unwanted we are for the surroundings we bear,
Together we battle this world that swears.

No gifts, no compliments for us to share,
It’s hard to live in this world that is unfair.
The better you look, the better you are,
Society is cruel enough to judge you by your car.

Our wants and our truths are not visible to see,
If you lie and you bribe you will obtain the key.
Nothing good can change this complicated world,
It’s not for me or you, I heard.

The reality is heard to hear,
Nothing can change is what I fear.
Living our lives is the best cure,
Together we are one, our love is for sure.
